Life had piled up: a pandemic, three kids under four, postpartum anxiety, and the stress of owning a restaurant during an unprecedented global crisis. We were depleted—physically, mentally, emotionally. We didn’t just need rest. We needed a reset on a cellular level.

We searched for something simple, powerful, and efficient … something that could restore mind, body, and spirit in an hour or less. Enter: the float tank. After thorough research by Sean (our left-brained realist) and a leap of faith by Lizzy (our right-brained dreamer), we tried it. When the session ended, Sean turned to Lizzy and asked, "So, what do you think?" Lizzy, staring out the window, simply replied, "Have there always been this many shades of green in the trees?"

We had found our medicine: a sanctuary for the nervous system, a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and tune in to life again.
